The Feldenkrais Method ® yields results from the first lesson. The Method is not an exercise program. You will, however, notice that you become more efficient in any exercise program you participate in. Yoga and T'ai Chi students are encouraged to explore how The Feldenkrais Method can enhance and improve their practice.
Functional Integration ® and Awareness Through Movement ® lessons are designed to improve flexibility, balance, and posture; enhance sensory awareness and self concept; reduce pain; and support the treatment of neurological, orthopedic, post-operative, and stress-related conditions.
Nancy Harden has been involved in Feldenkrais work since 1991 and became a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2000. A licensed physical therapist since 1987, she has explored many forms of holistic healing since 1980.
