History
Judy and Jeffrey each received their core massage therapy training from the prestigious Healing Arts School of Massage, completing the school's rigorous 650-hour state licensure program and receiving their Alabama Massage Therapy licenses in the Summer of 1999.

After becoming licensed and before forming OMA, Judy and Jeffrey each left their full-time careers in marketing and software development, respectively, to open private massage therapy practices. Between the Fall of 1999 and the Spring of 2001, they were student instructors at the Healing Arts School of Massage, assisting in the teaching of Anatomy and Kinesiology (the study of movement in the body), as well as the Theory and Practice of Massage I. They also conceived and directed the school's aggressive massage therapy Continuing Education program, hosting several successful, well-attended massage therapy continuing education seminars.

Judy and Jeffrey continue to bring this expertise to the Tennessee Valley, hosting advanced continuing education programs for massage therapists under the auspices of their education division, the Massage Education & Development Guild, a non-profit group in Huntsville providing resources to the medical community and the general public about the benefits of massage, and providing educational and development opportunities to the regional and national massage therapy communities.
